Terms of Service

1. Scope of Service

ContextShim provides an inline HTTP wire gateway emulating OpenAI, Anthropic, Responses, and Cloud Ollama APIs for deterministic rule evaluation, zero-token direct responses, context enrichment, and audit tracing.

2. Acceptable Use & Upstream Provider Terms

You retain full ownership of your rules, prompts, and responses. When forwarding traffic via BYOK credentials or Cloud Ollama (https://ollama.com/v1), you agree to comply with the applicable upstream model provider's acceptable use policies. Automated abuse, SSRF probing of private networks, and credential stuffing are prohibited.

3. Plan Quotas, CAS Governance & Support

Monthly call quotas and rule limits are enforced according to your active subscription tier (Free Developer, Pro, Team, or Enterprise). Rule mutations use optimistic compare-and-swap (expected_version) to guarantee deterministic configuration integrity. Contact support@contextshim.com for billing or SLA inquiries.
